Skaneateles Lake

Nestled in the Finger Lakes, Skaneateles is a coveted lake gem. This picturesque stretch of paradise combines breathtaking views, lake life and brilliant small town charm. Owasco Lake
Owasco  is the 6th largest of the Finger Lakes at 11 miles long and 1.3 miles wide.  Owasco is smaller and shallower than many of the Finger Lakes which helps its waters warm quicker so boating, swimming and  water skiing are popular. At the lakes north end you will find Emerson Park which is home to the REV Theater. The REV offers world class entertainment, known as the Broadway of the Finger Lakes. It offers one of the most diverse fisheries with over 15 species calling it home.

Cayuga Lake
Cayuga is the longest of the Finger Lakes at just under 39 miles. With an average width of 1.7 miles, it ranks as the second largest Finger Lake. It is home to the world-famous Mackenzie-Childs company headquarters with a hybrid store overlooking Cayuga Lake. In Aurora you will find the historic Aurora Inn, Long Point State Park and The Milliard Filmore Presidential Site. At the south end you will find Ithaca, home to the prestigious Cornell University and Ithaca College. You will also find a seasonal weekend market with baked goods, produce, crafts, music, wine tasting and street food. For the art enthusiast Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art is located on the Cornell campus and offers over 35,000 works of art.  The Ithaca Commons are a two-block pedestrian mall of business known as downtown Ithaca.  Buttermilk Falls and Robert Treaman State Parks are on Cayuga Lake. There are over 25 unique wineries on Cayuga Lake, with 6 being accessible by boat.

Seneca
Seneca Lake is the largest of the Finger Lakes. It is known as the Lake Trout capital of the world and is home to The National Lake Trout Derby. It offers the longest wine trail of the Finger Lakes at 70 miles long. At the north end is the city of Geneva, home of Hobart and William Smith College, and NYS Agriculture Experiment Station of Cornell. You will also find the famed Smith Opera House that provides quality performing arts and cultural experiences. At the south end of the Lake is the village of Watkins Glenn. Famed for auto racing and home to Watkins Glenn International Racetrack which is host to a NASCAR Cup Series race. Watkins Glenn State Park offers 19 waterfalls and is considered a flagship park by the State of New York.

Keuka Lake
Keuka Lake is unusual because it is Y-shaped. The productive fishery is supported by huge numbers of baitfish and is a very popular lake with area fisherman. The Village of Penn Yann is at the northeastern tip. Keuka College is located on the western shore of this lake. An important component of this region is based on grape growing and wine production. 13 vineyards are included in the Keuka Lake wine trail, with one winery on the lake.

Canadaigua Lake
Canadaigua Lake is the fourth largest of the Finger Lakes at 16 miles long. Skenoh Island is located at the north end of the lake. It is the smallest Fish and Wildlife Management Area in New York State. It is home to the Canandaigua Wine Trail, which is a collection of wineries, breweries, bed & breakfasts. hotels, attractions, shops and restaurants around Canandaigua Lake. Fishing is widely popular and is home to many species of fish. Humphrey Bogart spent many summers at his parent's lake house here. Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park is nearby along with Bristol Mountain Ski Resort.
